lolol well, the church isn't really interested in preventing aids. It is only interested in NOT preventing pregnancy. Condoms, no matter how far short of being 100 per cent reliable in the prevention of aids, sure beat no condoms at all. But that is hardly the issue, since the Catholic Church is against ANY ual in which the possibility of conception is blocked. And it is absolutely against ual outside the boundaries of marriage, so they don't want to make people more confident about doing that by sanctioning the use of any kind of pregnancy prevention, EVEN when it might contribute to the prevention of this disease. As usual, the Catholic Church will defend its wacky edicts with the same determination that he has for centuries defended its child-predator priests.
