Why is the Amazon rainforest becoming a source of global carbon dioxide pollution?

While all of those answers contribute to increased CO2 the biggest issue is that the rain forest adsorbs a huge amount of CO2 through photosynthesis, and as it disappears we are losing the biggest tool for keeping CO2 under control.
