Why were you evacuated from the house? Was it something your family did or was there something wrong with the house? If it was something that was wrong with the house it is the landlords responsibility to take care of all damages. As for the hotel I'm not really sure. But if your family caused the reason for the evacuation that would be on you, renter's insurance is very important!
